NetgemTV is a hybrid IPTV middleware solution that combines NetgemTV DMS (Device Management System), a robust server component, with an optimized set-top box software client.
Middleware Server
The NetgemTV DMS can easily be integrated into existing content and business management systems through a Web Services API. It offers both an open, highly optimized and scalable environment for efficiently managing a large number of connected set-top boxes.

OPEN STANDARD AND MODULAR SOLUTION
Open standard development platform: based on Linux, Internet (W3C), broadcast (DVB) and IPTV standards (Open IPTV Forum), the NetgemTV middleware is delivered with a Software Development Kit. This SDK comprises a full suite of set-top box and server JavaScript TV APIs, allowing operators and third-party developers to fully customize the TV service offering as well as quickly create new applications such as VOD portals or Internet-based interactive services.
Modular and flexible software: The NetgemTV client software architecture is organized in several modular and integrated layers where the operating system, hardware abstraction layer, embedded middleware and Web browser are developed or integrated, then optimized, packaged and maintained by Netgem. The NetgemTV Javascript API allows for any Baseline TV, Advanced TV or Web TV applications to be quickly activated and integrated within the entire IPTV system.
